On several notes I have notice that lot of people are having trouble to maintain their PC with constantly reinstalling OS but today in this post I will be talking on three main things you must do  immediately after installing a new operating system on your PC.
When installing an OS on your PC always search thoroughly to know what the OS is capable of doing to ascertain that it suit what you need it for. Also don't just change your OS unnecessarily to avoid losing vital stuffs of your PC that is beyond your power to recover back.

Let's get started
1. Install an active antivirus
Before you do any other thing on your PC make sure you install a genuine antivirus that isn't pirated. If you are not buoyant enough to purchase one year usage pass code for it try getting free trial for a month to secure your PC / OS from attacks and intruders. And if you are done for one month it expires try another type of antivirus free for one month till you finish the year using 12 secured genuine antivirus.

2. Install Drivers
Drivers to my knowledge is like an intermediary between your OS and your PC hardware it makes you hardware function accurately. Check from your Device Manager to know which driver isn't installed after the installation of the OS, and then get a genuine driver installation pack to fix the missing drivers.

3. Install browser, word processor, media player and other important software
These are what makes your PC a good and usable one they are applications used to carry out every day to day tasks steady and easy. Like I said earlier always install genuine software/applications to keep you going without any stress.

After these have been followed strictly and accordingly I assure you no err will invade your PC and you can use it for longer time than it has ever been.
